Project Information

In prep for moving into our new house, I am building a bedroom set for my wife and myself. This is the first part of that set. Two bedside tables, designed in sketch-up and made from solid american walnut. This was my first project taking rough boards to a final product. I went with a simple design keeping the overall outline clean but with small angle details on the legs and front face. I definitely learned a lot making these. Now on to the larger pieces…..the dressers and bed. Thanks for looking!

You did a fantastic job on the night stands. No doubt you'll do a great job with the rest of the project.

Thanks all for the kudos. When I look at things I build I remember all the little mistakes i made along the way. And this project is no different . But overall I am extremely happy with how these turned out and I apreciate all the feedback. Drawer slides are full extension metal bearing slides from cshardware.com.
