I Neded a nice cabiney in which to hold my classical and tock CDs. I took some measurements of what the standard vertical cabinets are and went from there using my imagination. Many items in my home that I have made are of a picket fence deco so even this was mad to the same.
I consists of eight non-movable shelves (it’s for CDs and they don’t change size!). For stability, I built the little square base on it, actually as an after-thought of the first use of it. Made of pine and painted with latex it wears well. I use a hagnet to ‘lock’ the door closed. I went for a little extra detail on the ‘roof’ with the edging.
