Second overall project, I bought the plans online, was too chicken to do it from scratch.

I learned a lot about:
Routers, router depth, rabbets
Birch plywood surfaces
Glue-up
Reading plans
Understanding cuts versus just following a cut sheet
Learned how to replace a rabbet that should not have been cut :)

This one is only about 24×24, I’ll make a larger one next to fit an available space in my garage. I really like seeing the tools there when I need them rather than going to 3-4 cabinets or drawers.

Look like a very useful tool cabinet to me.
How is the stability of the cabinet when it’s all opened up?
I have wanted one of these for some time.
Thanks for sharing.

I like it and I too have been thinking about making something very mush like this but I have been worried about it wanting to tip over

It seems very stable, I think the wheels on each section are close enough to the edge that it balances very well.

I like that too. I looked at your pictures for quite some time thinking how I could use that. Where did you get the plans? Oh, and yes you did a nice job. I hope it works well for you.

It’s a lot like the road boxes we use for touring shows. Nice work.

Great use of space. Should provide years of valuable storage.
