You know guys if you want a good meal keep your wife happy, well I tried to do that with her new kitchen, we used to have an American kitchen that had an Island near the window, it did not work out so over a period of 8 weeks she has what you see. The material is cherry from trees we cut down many years ago, it is all airdried and has developed a great patina, each one of the door has a carving of a wheat motive which I took from a carving book. All in all she is happy with it

Yipes, better not let my wife see this. Those small drawers is exactly what she wants in our next kitchen which I am doing this summer. Great looking cabinets. Your wife should be proud of it and you.

Beautiful work! A nice way to use some trees that were cut down. Even the wood itself has a story behind it. You can’t beat that. And, you did all of this in 8 weeks. I couldn’t even draw up the plans in eight weeks!
