Really nice…I’ve been pondering making some of these. Thanks and welcome to LumberJocks!

Careful they get addictive. I took a class from John Wilson (“The Expert” in Charlotte, Michigan) and I was hooked. They are quick and easy and make great gifts. I’ve likely made over 100 of them now.

Beautiful looking coaster set…............ but don’t let Karson see these. He’ll be making a set for himself…......LOL

My first experience w/ Shaker Boxes was in a class w/ John Wilson in Atlanta 3/93. I have been making them ever since. Our club, ” Mason Dixon Woodwokers”, had John teach a class for us 10/93. Another club member, Richard Bowen and I have been conducting classes since then.
I like the way you inserted the shims to hold the costers in place. i can emagine the diffuclty inserting the cork.
Excellent work!!!!!!!!!

I would love to see a step by step blog on these. I’ve always had uses for them, and the only way I’ll ever have any is to make them myself. Plus, I think they are simply lovely.
