Wow! I have never seen a shutter in the shape of an octagon previously. It sure turned out very nice – looks great and obviously practical, for you, as well. Thanks for sharing and welcome to LJs.

Really great solution to an odd shaped shutter. Excellent job.

Now why didn’t I think of that? I have an east facing octognal window in the master bath. At certain times in the AM, you risk permenent eye damage just trying to shave!
Also has the advantage of being a project the wife will see the utility of…
