These are two coat racks that I’ve recently made. Simple projects – but they were both wanted or needed by their recipients so… it was more of a “pleaser” project.
The first was a Christmas gift, the second was for a co-worker who wanted one after she saw a picture of the first coat rack. The small hooks on the second coat rack are to hang keys from. The customer requested “something to hang my keys from”
They are both Oak with Minwax Cherry stain. They are then finished with satin poly.
EDIT: Oh yeah, the second coat rack…the customer wanted to it match an existing coat rack – so that is why the ends are square and the edge profile is a simple round over. I like the first coat rack better, but ya gotta please the customer I suppose! :)
Thanks,
Zac

Maybe small projects but they both look good and if your recipients were pleased – it was a worthwhile project.

Simple projects are often the best projects. Nicely done.
