Several have posted their versions of the ever popular, Wood Whisperer end grain cutting board.
After watching the episode I thought that they’d made great Christmas gifts. I’ve also donated some to silent auction events.
This one is Walnut and Maple, finished with General Finishes Salad Bowl Finish
Thanks,
Zac

These are great looking boards no wonder they are so popular. Maybe by next Christmas I will get around to making some of these…

Marc (The Wood Whisperer) is a member here at LJ. www.thewoodwhisperer.com is his website – he offers free podcasts that most find extremely helpful. Pretty entertaining to watch, IMHO. Check him out – pretty neat site too.

I have some sapele. Would that be usable in an edge grain cutting board?

Nice; I’m sure many families this Christmas will be recipients of cutting boards courtesy of the WW. I’m in the process of making up a couple of cutting boards for Christmas after watching the WW video too…
