Mesquite and Pecan.11 ” in diameter,9” tall.108 pieces in center band,97 pieces of Mesquite for remainder of vessel.one small accent ring of Pecan at bottom of vessel,12 pieces in that ring.Took 7 weeks to complete.Finish is Lacquer and floor wax.

Very nice. I wouldn’t know where to begin on a project like this. I like the contrast in color. I’m not sure I’ve seen Pecan used before or at least I didn’t know if I did. Is this a common hardwood?
