Here are some of the tea light candle holders I’ve been puttering with these past few days. They’ve all been made from my stash of rescued firewood and pieces from my scrap piles. Holes are 1 5/8”, drilled with a Forstner bit. Finish is Minwax semi-gloss spray-on poly.
These two spalted maple tea light holders are the cut off ends of another pair I posted. One side had a big chainsaw bite in it, so I snipped off the ends of both halves, cutting out the damaged part, and made these little single candle holders out of them. Band sawed off a flat bottom for each, sanded, drilled, finished – voila! Sweet and simple and showing off Mother Nature’s creation.
Hope you like ‘em and look for my other candle holders posted here!
