Well my girlfriend is a natural carver. For some of us it’s been a long road to learn and try to get this carving thing right. I have to say from the day she picked up a chisel she has been a natural. This carving is her second carving. I posted the first a few weeks ago. She’s going to be an amazing carver if she keeps up with it. This was carved in maple. She used wire for the antenna.

That is an awesome piece of work. Yep, she’s a natural. Her first was good. This one’s great. How’s she gonna top this?

Now ya gotta frame them both or build something to showcase them. She is fast on your heels.
Great work, maybe she has been watching you.

Thanks for the post.

Hi Kieth;
When do we get to meet this talented lady? Should she not be a lumberjock as well?
Great job.

Coming on strong. Nice composition. Does she design the work too? How about have the subject matter out size the frame sometime. Think she could do it. Very cool, congratulations.

Fantastic! Looks like someone is going to need their own Lumberjock account. Is this piece carved onto a larger piece or is it a stand alone carving?

Keith, I think your girl friend qualifies as a lumberjock. She should have her own page don’t you think?.
