This is a simple shop project I completed a cpl mo ago. I made it between finishing other projects. I’ve found that simple projects like this help clear my mind when I get stuck on more complicated ones.
I made this because my hand tools would constantly get dull laying on my dirty bench during projects. So I figured some simple mobile storage would cut down on needless sharpening.
The wood is some 1/2 Teak plywood I aquired off CL last summer. It was probably some of the best quality ply I’ve used. Not a single blemish or void between plys and both veneers were nice quality. I got the idea for the design off of a wood magazine issue. It’s basically grooves made on the table saw with a dado stack.
I finished it with 3 coats of BLO/poly home brew.
