One of my advanced woodworking students is studying cutting boards. Here is one he made out of walnut and hard maple. He used a taper jig to make several of the pieces. He then decided to cut in some curves just to make it different. The challenge was gluing it and not having the pieces slide away from each other. The board is finished with several coats of mineral oil. The student received an A for this project. Very nice job!
