This is one of my private Projects i made a few month ago. it is Toolcabinet i built for my new Workshop. It has a Tambour Door made of 1” thick lawaan strips .
Inside is a doublewall where i can hang the Tools (the door slides at the Back). The Rollup door opens completly until the Top.
The Case is made of local lawaan Plyboard with a solid lawaan Faceframe.
The finishing is a little bit wierd: Old engine Oil and Wax finishing. Its the only thing that keeps our enimies (termites) out of our projects
Not something special but it fullfill its purpose.

First, Welcome to LumberJocks!!!

Second, I think that looks terrific… I like the roll up door… that’s pretty cool.

I’m really looking forward to more of your posts…

Hey, whatever works! :) I like it very much! The roll up door is quite uncommon, and it looks quite well made! And Welcome!

A tool box with a roll up door! Not a bad ideal. It looks great ! (Old engine Oil and Wax finishing to keep the termites away. I got to remember that.) And welcome to Lumberjocks.

Engine oil? Very cool – not sure how’d I’d like working with it – but it certainly came out looking good on your project! The tool case is nice, the sliding door is a neat idea.
