This Is a three legged stool I fancied making out of some old oak posts. Yes the same wood as some of my jewellery boxes. Tried to use some old fashioned wood work joints also using oak dowels that I have made. Took a lot of sanding after I used a rasp to round the corners off. Then a lot of hand sanding. But still wanting to keep the roughness / character of the wood.
Finished it of with Danish oil. Well I had fun making it. And now must think what else to make as I want a break from box making.

That would make a fantastic guitar picker’s stool!

You have some great projects posted. This one will serve you well. I only wish I could see them better. LOL! I’m sure your photo software has an adjustment for rotating the pictures. Sometimes there is a conflict when i save the file after corrections but usually I figure it out.

Looking forward to seeing your next creation right side up. :<)

I know the photography is not that good. But I like making things from wood. No taking photos. As I use my phone to take them.
