My entry bench

Project by Cathy Krumrei posted 280 days ago 461 views 0 times favorited 3 comments Add to Favorites Watch

We added a closet on my side and I needed a bench to sit and put shoes/boots on. So back in the shop I went and made this one out of pine panel boards. I couldn’t use something large so this worked out perfect making it myself. I picked out the knotty parts on the boards as I wanted a rustic look. The lid does open to use and I will put extra gkids mittens and hats in there.

Turned out great Cathy, used the knots well as features.

Looks great Cathy, I hope you have a divider in there to seperate the gkids from the mittens and hats. :)
I love the pine. It’s always been my favorite, Love the smell of fresh cut pine boards. (in the morning)
