Sycamore/purpleheart box

Wow. The grain is amazing! I think someone was very happy to get this particular box.

Those splines are very nice. No worries about it being “just another box” (or cutting board, or Chess board, etc..). I’ve found that the simple, fundamental projects are often the best for keeping your basic skill set finely tuned.

Just another box? If I had made that I wouldn’t be able to wipe the smile off my face. Fantastic. Really like the splines.
