I built this stand for my son to hold three 5 gallon terrariums that he has for his pet tarantulas. We set the dimensions based on the size of the aquariums and the space he figured he needed above each aquarium to be able to have adequate access to them for feeding, cleaning, etc! It’s made of red oak with quarter inch oak plywood back. Stain is Minwax red oak stain, finish is three coats of General Finishes Arm-R-Seal oil and urethane top coat. I’m just glad those big spiders are in his house and not mine. :-)

Eric, the little buggers stay pretty well hidden so I don’t get to see them often and I’m terrible at taking closeup photos like that. They are colorful though. :-)

You certainly could win a prize for the neatness of your shop as well!
Nice project. One of the great benefits of working with wood is the ability to make things for a specifc purpose or space or need.
