A wedding gift for my niece last summer. It’s made from sycamore and purpleheart. Started to rain about the time I took this picture as you can see in the pic.

Nice box. I’ve worked with sycamore a couple of times… it can have some really cool looking grain.

This makes me want to go find some sycamore. Those purpleheart dovetail splines make a pretty bold statement. very nice. What are the dimension of the box?

I would say it was about 6” x 8” x 4” but thats an estimate. I like the Kehoe jig since I’ve not had the courage to use a dovetail jig, yet. One of these days,,,,,,,,,,
