CelestofThrive, a fairly new member, came up with challenge for us Lumberjocks.
You can read about it here.
So I’ve been diddling around with my Sketchup, to see what I could come up with.
The Tapered legs are cut from a 2 X 6, you get 2 legs with each tapered cut.
You will be able to get all of the leg parts from one 10 foot 2 X 6.
The top can be 3/4” plywood, or vinyl coated panel.
The side aprons are 1 X 4 boards.
As you can see from the images, the legs are hinged, so you just fold them under to
make the conversion.
Go here to see the 3D version of my plan.

This was a kind of fun project to design.
I had a chance to practice my Sketchup skills.

I seen that review and went to check it out..no, it’s not FREE as stated. 8 hours-free where you dl it. It would be nice to have but can’t justify that price to have it. Pretty neat tho.

Cathy, are you referring to SketchUp? There is a free version. You were looking at the pro version. Go to this link and click on the big blue button that says, “Download Google SketchUp”.

Hi Lee,
Thanks for your confidence in me, but if you keep making mistakes,
a person is bound to get it right, eventually.
I’m just too dumb to quit.<(;O)#

Hi Alejandro,
Thank you for the compliment. This concept was not an original idea by me.
I had seen something similar, years ago in a book , or magazine.
I just drew this rendition of the plan from memories of the original.
