Here is a new small “Quick-n-Easy” project I finshed yesterday. A friend is building his desk from Ash right now, and we had to cut some holes in it with the CNC router of the joinery I work for. There was a round peace of about 3” diameter and 1” thickness left, but too nice for the fire. (Why always throwing small parts away?) So decided to turn a small candle holder from it.

This is first piece since many years I turned, but it’s like riding a bike, I didn’t unlearned it. After turning, I sanded/poished it with P180 and P320 sandpaper and oiled it with solid wax oil (right word for it??). Time for all this was about 45 minutes.

Hope you like it, and wish you a Happy Easter from Germany.
