Hi everyone! This is my second post I think – just joined lumberjocks. I thought I’d post a couple projects to get started.
At the point of making this table – I’d really only been “woodworking” for about 6-7 months. Just kinda learn as I go. I was pleased with the results – learned a lot. Had some help with the finishing process from a friend from another forum.
This is an all Cherry coffee table I made for a Birthday present for the LOML. It is QS Cherry for the top. I finished it with Watco “Natural” Danish Oil, followed by Minwax Satin Poly.
I did use pocket screws to assemble, the next one I think I’ll try M&T joints.
Thanks for taking a look – I look forward to being active on the forums!
Zac

Zac, this is a beautiful table. Cherry happens to be a personal favorite of mine. You did a good job on the table’s construction and design. It has nice arts and crafts design to it, which is also a style I favor, and I like the cove edge treatment.
Nice job.
