Charred wood vase and wood flowers

Project by Bob Collins posted 290 days ago 349 views 1 time favorited 8 comments Add to Favorites Watch

Had another go at wood charring, I used a low heat and did more burns on the bottom half that the spout, I have found that Poplar wood does show the grain fairly well. . The flowers are what I learnt from Pat Sherman’s correspondence lessons and Cathy’s “Forever Flowers” ebook which has paid for itself many times over.

Hmmmm!! First wooden flowers I ever heard of. Look great, I’ll bet my wife couldn’t kill ‘em and they probably won’t wilt :-))

Sorry, the above ebook is called “Forever Flowers” and well worth having in your wood working library.
