Another mesquite piece.10” tall and 9” in diameter.73 pieces in vase—96 pieces in center band with is made up of mesquite and pecan.Finish is sanding sealer and Johnson’s floor wax.Sanded out to 600 grit wet or dry.
The piece is sitting on my old barn wood kitchen table which turned out very nice a few years ago.

This is beautiful! I really like segmented turnings – especially when they come out like this! I’ll have to try one sometime, but at the moment I can’t even turn a bowl without it blowing apart!
