Batmobile

This is a bed that was completed in September 2005. It is a modification of my regular car bed to fit the Batman theme. Unlike my original car bed, this one I made more three dimensional . At the back wheels and fins and the front wheels, I built it up to give it more depth. I also had to do it for support on the fins.

The finish is a black lacquer and all the other colors are a vinyl decal that is designed and cut specifically for this project.

On the hood section I used bending plywood. My first idea was to have a small storage area with a lift up top, but doing that would have been too time consuming and increased the price greatly.
