These are made from ash with oak ply sides and backs. Joints are mortise and tenon. This is not the best staining job by far but it my wife likes them. My first coffee table was a cardboard box with a piece of 1/2” plywood for a top. These are much nicer, thanks for looking.

They look mighty good to me. That’s funny…I’m in the process of building a coffee table for our home. We currently alternate between nothing and a plastic Rubermaid tub with a piece of cardboard for the top.
