Here’s a brass plane mallet that I made. The project took me about an hour to complete. The brass head is 1” Brass rod and the handle started as 1” x 1.5” x 8” lacewood looking stuff from a pallet from somewhere way south of me im sure.

A quick, easy build that will get much use around the shop.
