This is a bar that was complete in June 2005. It was built for a customer that combined a couple different pictures they found. They like the overall design no one, but the legs on another. This project was made from maple with a custom stain finish. It is protected with several coats of pre-catalyzed lacquer.
Because of it’s enormous size, I built it to be broke down for transportation. I had the back panel, bar top, and the legs all separate pieces. I am glad I did it that way because it tuned out larger than the customer expected it to be. Once they got it in the house, it overwhelmed everything else. Because of how I made the connecting points on the back panel, I could cut it down fairly easy.
