Bob -
It looks great – I visited Fallingwater a few years ago but had to base my version from photographs I had. There is a discussion in the posts under my project you might be interested in – because of the heat generated from the bulb, I ended up building a heat shield/reflector for the lamp, There are pictures and descriptions in the post under Fallingwater Bedside Lamp.

Just visited Fallingwater and thoroughly enjoyed Wright’s concepts.
Thought I’d google the lamp and came upon Lumberjocks and several who had
material on FallingWaterLamp; among whom you were listed.
Of course I joined Lumberjocks.
You are a swell bunch of artisans.
Good reproduction!

Have almost finished that lamp you displayed.
Can you give me some clues how you managed to connect the electric lead wire through or near the
bottom?
Thanks ever so much

The base is made from 1/2” thick maple, painted black. I drilled a hole in on of the sides for a 16 gauge electrical lamp cord to the center the I drilled down from the top to I hit the hole I drilled from the side, I did not drill all the way through the base. I then fished the lamp cord in the side to the center and up to the the lamp fixture assembly. Hope this helps.
