Double bowl another router mill creation

I have had many requests to see what my router mills can do. So I recently made this double bowl out of one piece of wood and made a video of the process. My goal was to show what can be done with it using a little imagination. It also shows some of the versatility of the machine. I also believe that this would be hard to duplicate on any other woodworking machine. I still have more sanding to do to to finish it. That is the hardest part of these type of projects.

Here is a link to the video, it is a little choppy because it was too long so I shortened it.

I also recently built a bench top version of the router mill you can see it at.

That’s really nice. The links you posted don’t work for me unfortunately, I would love to see this in action,

Gary, I am glad you liked the bowl. Thanks for letting me know about the links I think they are fixed now.

You’ve been busy! Neat project. The video was very good, and even though I could guess what you were going to do, it held my interest. Well done!

And in spite of your busy work schedule you’ve built TWO machines! Green? Kinda like it. Mine is still natural.

BTW, one thing I’m planning to do for my machine is make a stack of 1/8” shims to swivel under the stop as needed. I can’t seem to control the foot pedal well enough to keep it from “sinking” in the cut. I think I’m ready to cut the cable to length now, and that might make it less “punky” and give better pedal feel.
