More experimenting with Gorilla Glue and my new cabinet clamps. I had some short ends of cherry and walnut left from other projects and I decided to make another cheese board. This time instead of the simple checkerboard I varied things just a little bit using some narrow stock for one of the strips dring the glue-up. Then a little careful alignment in the clamps for the second stage.
Three coats of mineral oil to finish.
I’m liking the Gorilla Glue for these sorts of projects but I’m not convinced I should give up my PVA glue.

I favor the design for this… it’s large rounded corners, it’s inviting to use. Plus, it looks great…
