That is a high angle, looks like a scraper plane? Different way of putting the wedge pin in, I was shown to carve it to shape and install before glue the cheeks on. What are the dimension of the plane?

Very nice first attempt at this stylish looking plane. I want to try my hand at making my first plane but have to do some more research before doing so. But with seeing everyone’s custom made plane projects, Yours included, I feel myself getting that much closer to pulling the trigger! Thanks for sharing and the inspiration!........Rob
