This cute bunny trinket box, small carrot box and ornaments are not only great projects to make for Easter, but as decorations that can be displayed all through the spring or summer seasons. You could even use it in a baby’s room to hold cotton swabs, diaper pins or small hair ornaments.

I thought that this project would be a great way to use small scraps of wood in your shop. I even used the waste areas from the rings to cut the three cute smaller bunnies.

For the carrot, I used some green jute that I glued to the rim of the small carrot box.

My box here was made from maple and walnut. I used shellac to finish it. The pattern for this and other boxes is available at my website. I hope you like it!

Thank you all again. :) We are fortunate that it is NOT snowing today. The sky is clear and the sun it bright. It looks like we are down to about 2 feet of snow on the ground (average – just an estimate – some drifts and places that it was dumped, like on top of our garbage bin, it is 8-10 feet still) Hopefully it will melt faster than it accumulates.

Even I am anxious for spring! Have a great one!

Very well done, probably the best Easter scroll saw project I’ve seen, got to make one of those.

Thank you all. I have several versions of these little boxes I will be posting over the next few days. They are fun and easy to make. :)

Thanks Roger! Eventually it will arrive, I expect. 2 more inches of snow this weekend. :/ But most of it melted. (YAY!!)
