another pie safe!!

This walnut pie safe was a custom order. 4” wider than others I’ve built plus the drawer is in the bottom. The top is a double stack ogee trim which makes it look like 1 1/2 thick. Finish is hand rubbed tung oil. I have 3 others of oak .

Very nice. I really like that bottom drawer face. That’s a special piece of walnut

I’ve always wondered how pies last long enough to get stored in a safe of any type.

The figure on that drawer front is really striking.
