Back scratcher

Project by Betsy posted 273 days ago 280 views 0 times favorited 7 comments Add to Favorites Watch

I recently bought a back scratcher and while I like it – I felt it was too short. So I made this one based on the bought one. It’s mahogany and 18” long. I used a leather strip to dress it up a bit. I did mess up and put the hanger through the wrong side – but oh well.

I think that it looks about the right size to me, of course since we are currently housing 24 (mostly foster) cats I don’t have a lot of call to do my own scratching.

I like it ;-) I’ve been gonna do that for ages. I think I’ll copy yours. What do you mean put the hanger through the wrong side?

Thanks all.

Topa – I put the hanger through front to back and it should have been through side to side.
