Latest project in school. The intentions off this project was to try rationalising a peice so it can be proffitable in a buisiness. 50 benches were made, 45 in Oak and the standard Danish paperband, and 5 in Ash and black band.
A really fun and educational project! I have more pictures if anyone is interested :)

Beautiful work, I love it when the danish modern stuff pops up here.
Care to do a blog on the caning process? It would be very educational.

Nice piece! I second the request for any documentation/experience with the danish paper cord as I hope to dabble in it soon.

How was the weave done? I’ve been wanting to make something similar and was curious how to make a seat like this. Also what is the material?
