Looks great for your first time. My stepson turns a lot of Bankasia pods and I think they are so good looking pieces. I need to get me some and try it myself. Keep up the good work.

HI Chuck. Great work with the Banksia pods. That give me a good Idea of what to do with the one I have. I was going to make a lighthouse out of it with light coming out through all the holes but those candle holders are quite unique. Where did you buy yours at?

Thanks for the positive comments. I purhchased the pods from Penn State Industries. They really make a mess when turning though and make certain you have respiratory protection when turning, there will be a ton of fine red powder airborne!
