When I “installed” Punis House I used a 1×6 x 12’ Cedar to contain a gravel bed. I made these racks from the left over material.
The slots were made by making 5 or so passes on the table saw since I don’t have a dado set yet. The finish is brushed on amber shellac.

Thank you Paul. Make sure the slots are wide enough for the domino set(s) you’re going to use them with. We brought these racks to my step-mothers place where we play a lot of dominos and found that her set was thicker and wouldn’t fit the racks even thought they were the same type – brand. The racks worked good for playing Uno – the youngin’s have a hard time holding any quantity of cards.

Good idea. We play Mexican Train occasionally and it is hard to line up all those pieces. I may try this.

I play dominos with my young nephews and they have the hardest time not knocking over their tiles. I’ll definitely have to look into making some of these. Thanks for posting.
