This was my first attempt at intarsia. I went to the library and borrowed a Judy Gail Roberts book and went to it. I used black walnut, cedar, basswood, & hickory.

Nice job, especially on your first attempt…intarsia can get addicting, hope the bug bites and we’ll see more pieces from you in the future.

It’s adorable. Intarsia- my favourite technique – never mind it’s time consumer. Beautiful wood colours.
