I have been a Den Leader for my oldest son’s Cub Scout den for 3 years, this year I was asked to take over as Cub Master.

Since I get to plan and perform the rank advancement ceremony this year I decided to do a medieval theme and dress up as a King and dress the old Cub Master up as a jester j/k.

So I needed a sword to knight the cub scouts. Cub Scout colors are blue and gold so I wrapped the handle in blue and gold paracord.

Thanks for looking.

Great job on the sword and great idea for the ceremony. We never had anything like that when I was in scouts (back in the 70s). Advancement “ceremony” was being called up to the front during a weekly meeting and being handed a badge/pin/whatever. I hope it inspires them to learn more about History and the Code of Chivalry. Thanks for sharing.
