Built this table to fit between a couple of pantry cabinets. Space was occupied by a cafe table and chairs that just seemed to take up too much space in the small pass through of the breakfast nook. Frame and legs are clear pine. Top in 5/4 soft maple. Frame was constructed with pocket screws. The top had a slight warp to it that I tried to ease out with some heavy objects on top of for a day after assembly. Still had a bit of warp so also used pocket screws to suck down the top and that made everything plumb. Finished with Minewax Early American stain and 4 coats of poly.

Nice looking table, but attaching the top with pocket screws is not a good idea,it restricts wood movement and may end up cracking your top.
