I have completed my adaptation of the FWW essential toolbox. I added a third drawer. It’s built with red oak, bubinga and maple, finished with 2 coats of amber shellac on the oak followed with clear the bubinga and maple in the drawers was all clear shellac. I just have to figure out what tools to put in it now.

It was a joy to watch this gorgeous tool chest take shape. The design, materials, execution, and hardware… All excellent.

A stunning beauty!

Thanks for letting us follow along, Bruce.

Beautifully crafted toolbox, Bruce! Just went and read the build blog. Nice that you could incorporate a little history into it. Is it filled yet? Thanks for sharing.
