Wooden Try Squares

Pretty. I guess it’s now on my ever-growing list to make.

I’d be interested in your technique for building these perfectly square.

Charlie: You don’t build them square you make them square. =)

Build it ‘fair’, then tune with block plane set for razor thin shavings until you’re accurate.

Use reference straightedge, scribe line, flip square over, scribe new line. If they match up, you’re 90 degrees.

How did you get the quatersawn oak?
Make it yourself or buy it that way?
