Nice “chunky’ work
The contrasting timbers sets if off well.

P.S. I must remember never to go canyoning when you guys are in the area!

Beautiful boxes. Nice colours and I like those ’’out of box’’ legs.

Haskins, I like this look much better than the previous posting. The legs aren’t as obtrusive. Rounding over the outside edges would soften the “chunky” look. How about a stripe of lighter wood down the center? How about all three, thinning the legs, adding a stripe, and putting a large diameter round on the outside two edges? The inlay is well done and I like the innovation of the circular lift indentation. I take it that the nail act as a pivot for the lid. That is one way to avoid hinges. Keep boxing and keep posting.
