Mitre Saw Bowl 2 Spalted Beech

I made this bowl with my mitre saw as I have no lathe,as others pointed out on my last project there are better ways to make a bowl,but I am working with what I have.I used a vtool to put a small cut around the bowl that I filled with red spirit stain.I finished it to 600grit and used food safe oil and beeswax to make the grain and spalting pop. I made a youtube video of How I made it.

nice work and great video. most of my woodworking experience has come from modifying processes to fit the tools I have. You really hit the nail on the head with these!

Just goes to show that their is more than one way to make a bowl. Great job ashe.
