The hummingbird and morninglorys are done on about a 10 inch round rustic red cedar stump cut on a slant. I used a router with a 60 degree v-groove router bit. On the small detail work on the indian I used a roto-zip tool with a dremel size v-groove bit. They both have 2 coats of Minwax gloss.

You said freee hand? not stencill? You have a VERY steady hand with the router.

No stencils, stencils are too restrictive. I like the freedom to choose different styles of font to match the spirit of the signs. Thank you for your kind words.
