This is my first project on a lathe. It was turned using spalted burly red oak and finished with three coats of tung oil. The head is attached with a through tennon, walnut wedge, and glue

hairy it was intended hit chisels but I need help on mallets as it far to light I am sure our colleages here know a judge maybe
