This is the Book Case refered to in the previous posting of the Oak Mantle.
This too is constructed of Solid Oak and Oak veneered plywood. The carvings are wood fiber castings stained to match. Adjustible shelves are supported by 5mm brass pins in pre-drilled holes. Hinges are consealed and the knobs are solid brass.
The linen back panels were applied by her wallpaper hangerr.
The top was recessed so she could decorate it without the pots showing..
