This economic down turn has left me with plenty of extra time to try some smaller projects. I’ve been told I need some affordable items for arts and craft shows. I’m also trying a shop on Etsy. woodsongs.Etsy.com
The first basket has a log handle that was decorated by a woodpecker. Held on with copper straps. All the baskets use willow twigs and hand planed Alder.

Whoa, can’t get much more rustic than that. They are eye catching. Would go well in gardens, or as accents in the house.

Hey, I’ll bet these will sell like hotcakes. Not to mention how much you’ll make clearing the willows off the ditch banks for those Jerome county cow farmers. LOL I hope you sell so many you have to import willows from Twin Falls County.

Very nice! I like the rustic and utilitarian look but they have a classic visual appeal.

I’m right here Douglas!!!!
these are fantastic and I agree—will sell fast!
(My favourite is that third one.)
These would look so great outside, inside, holding plants, holding things, sitting empty…
Yup.. awesome!

Pretty cool Dennis, good thinking too, people don’t have a lot of money right now so you should do well. Not to mention they look pretty neat. You’re a pretty artistic person, you’ll think of other thingomabobs to sell. Good luck buddy. GB. m
