Made this stool just for fun, and -really- i had fun. After painting, i was sure the design is not very well, but so what. It is made out of pine and the joints were glued and screwed. I drilled some holes in the vertical pieces and put in some pieces in the other direction just to get a better hold for the long screws from the side.

I like it! Chairs are out of reach skill-wise for us average weekenders, but this is a simple enough design for most folks to handle. I just might have to copy you. :-)
